Just a quick post to let you know that as of May 1, 2013 I am no longer a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.  I love their products and will continue to use them but at this time felt the need to stop being a demonstrator. 

I hope to post some things I have been working on in the near future.

It has been a while!

I haven’t posted to my blog in so long I almost forgot I had one.  There have been so many things going on in the last 8 months, the new Stampin’ Up! catalog was released and it has some beautiful papers, new stamp sets, awesome ink colors and so much more in it.  The Holiday Mini is out and WOW! is all I can say.

This month is stamp Club and we will be doing a Christmas card I saw on someone else’s blog using the Glimmer Paper.  Have you see this paper?  It is gorgeous and show shimmery.  I need more of it and have it on my next order list.

Today I downloaded MDS2 and can’t wait to install it and start using it.  I ordered the download and need to wait on my email from Stampin’ UP! which will give me my product key to install it. I haven’t used MDS much but MDS2 offers so much that I couldn’t resist ordering it during the save 31% off the original price offer.  I really need to use this more.  My plan is for my first project to be a desk top calendar which I will take to work to use.

I have also started a new job.  I was a receptionist/secretary for a non profit mental health provider and now I am assisting in HR and working with contracts for a non profit child placement agency.  It amazes me at how fast the day goes by and I no longer dread going to work every day.  I find I have more motivation here and am less tense at the end of the day.  It is wonderful!

I work in the same office as my daughter and it is great to see her everyday and eat lunch with her most days.  I can truly say we are not only mother and daughter but friends as well-what a great feeling.

My son just started a new school and after a rocky start he is settling in and making new friends.  At 15 1/2 he looking forward to getting his temporary driving permit. 

Well that is my update for now.  I hope to have some pictures of an upcoming Stamp Club idea Rhiannon gave me today.  I hope to start this for club next year and will post pictures when I have the first few completed.  Club meets 2 times during a quarter and we have a small club.

Wonder how this works!

I received an email today from Diana Gibbs (thanks Diana, I love your blog) and she said she was "giving it a try". She was creating her blog post through Word and I thought "I want to do that too…." and there it is.

Grab a Bag of Stampin' Up! Products
